In contrast to the Bachelor’s, engineering studies provide more expertise and practical knowledge, to better prepare for work in the profession. Engineering studies are a response to the growing demand for IT professionals.
Engineering Degree Studies are technical studies and last 7 semesters, which is equal to 3.5 years. It ends with achieving of the title of engineer. Graduates receive a diploma documenting higher professional education, which entitles them for the continuation of learning at Master’s degree Studies.
Engineering studies at Radom Academy of Economics at the specialization of Computer Science takes into account the requirements of the educational standards of the Minister of Science and Higher Education, the recommendations of accreditation standards from the Main Council for Higher Education and the National Accreditation Commission.
The admission may apply to those who have completed upper secondary education and have passed the secondary school certificate. The admission is based on the order submission of the required documents.
Computer Science lectures, exercises and modern computer laboratories are carried out by external practitioners in the field of IT. The study program is consulted with business partners and directed towards their needs.
In the course of the study subjects and seminars are divided into three parts:
Group I – basic courses and general education
Group II – directional subjects,
Group III – specialization subjects.
Studies are conducted in different modes:
- Full Time (classes from Monday to Friday)
- Part Time (classes in the form of seminars on Saturdays and Sundays).
Additionally Students of Radom Academy of Economics have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the IT area in the Circle of Young Informatics.
