Study synopsis
Polish integration with the European Union creates the need for education of young people who will be able to compete effectively in the new European labor market. It’s these individuals, that will mostly impact situation in the country, as well as the Polish position among partners in EU and in the world. Their knowledge and expertise will showcase our country’s potential. Studying this specialization, students learn in detail the rules governing the common market, as well as economic and social problems of the European Union.
Specialisation focuses on:
- Legal and economic aspects of the process of European integration
- Structure and mechanisms operating the European Union
- History of European Union’s Legal System
- Knowledge of the European Court of Justice rulings which have a fundamental impact on the functioning and development directions of the European Union
- understanding of the interaction between national and the European administrations
- efficient and professional realization of programs and activities funded by the European Union
- Obtaining EU funds
Job perspectives
Graduates of European Administration may find employment in offices and departments for European integration, as well as apply for jobs in the Community institutions on clerical and managerial positions in the economic, social and political environments. Students graduating this specialization can work at various levels of government, in particular the EU institutions and other transnational organizations. They are also efficient in obtaining aid and structural funds from the European Union.
