RAE is open (monthly TOEIC L & R sessions, TOEIC Bridge and TOEFL Junior sessions every two months) and closed (RAE student sessions) at the Educational Testing System (ETS) in Radom. As part of the cooperation with ETS we carry out language certificates ie TOEIC, TOEFL, WiDaF, TFI. These are leveling tests that can be taken by both a student with a basic knowledge of the language and one whose language skills are at a fairly high level.
Specificity of TOEIC L & R certificates.
TOEIC L & R (Test of English for International Communication Listening and Reading) is an English language test in the workplace, examining the proficiency in using the language in practice both in work, private life and travel.
TOEIC L & R:
1) Rated level – A1 C1 (according to the Council of Europe)
2) Scale points – 10 – 990
3) Duration – 120 minutes (test session with administrative part about 150 minutes)
4) Format – listening part – 100 questions; Part of Reading – 100 questions
5) Recognized in many companies and institutions in Poland and abroad
6) The test always seems – the score is presented as points on a scale
7) Open sessions at WCO once a month
8) Cost of the certificate for students and the unemployed – 340 zł, for working people – 375 PLN
Specificity of TOEIC BRIDGE certificates.
TOEIC BRIDGE (General English exam, examines the language proficiency in everyday life, intended for people entering the labor market who want to formally confirm language competency, intermediate level people.
TOEIC BRIDGE:
1) Rated level – A1B1 (according to the Council of Europe)
2) Scale points – 20 – 180
3) Duration – 60 minutes (test session with administrative part about 90 minutes)
4) Format – Listen part – 50 questions; Part of Reading – 50 questions
5) Recognized in many companies and institutions in Poland and abroad
6) The test always seems – the score is presented as points on a scale
7) Open sessions at WSH quarterly / 2 months
8) The cost of the certificate – 275 zł
Specificity of TOEFL JUNIOR exams.
TOEFL JUNIOR (Certificate of English for students of language schools, gymnasiums and high school students).
1) Rated level: A2B2 (according to the Council of Europe)
2) Rating scale: 600-900
3) Duration: 110 minutes (test session with administrative part about 150 minutes)
4) Format: Part Listening-42 Questions; Language Forms-42 questions; Grammar and vocabulary in context-42 questions
5) Recognized in language schools, grammar school, high school, language classes
6) The test always seems – the score is presented as points on a scale
7) Open sessions at WSH every 2 months
8) Cost of 300 PLN
